Summer Must-Haves

7 / 11 / 17
Summer Must-Haves

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely start to your week. Today I wanted to share with you my summer must-haves. These are my go to products that I couldn’t go without in the summer.
1. Floppy Hat – I think floppy hats are perfect for summer. They keep the sun out of your eyes while also protecting your face from getting burnt. They’re also just really cute. If you would like to see how I’ve styled hats in the past I will have them linked here and here.
2. Sunglasses– If you don’t feel like wearing a hat but want to keep the sun out of your eyes sunglasses are the perfect summer must-have. I love a cute pair of sunnies! I think the instantly dress up any outfit and make you super chic. These black cat eye sunglasses are one of my current favorites.
3. Sandals – I live in sandals in the summer. Nothing else adorns my feet other than a pair of sandals all summer long. I’ve wanted to pick up a new pair lately and I think these are going to it. I love the gladiator look and all the straps.  The colors are perfect, too!

4. Basic Cropped Tee – I am in love with just a basic plain white cropped tee. I think there is so much you can do with it. You can dress it up with a pair of high-waisted pants, a gorgeous statement necklace, and a pair of heels or you can dress it down with some high-waisted short, a pair of little tennis shoes and your hair in a messy bun. I’ve linked a couple different options because I couldn’t decide on just one, I’ll have the other one linked here.

5. High-Waisted Denim Shorts are another summer must-have for me. I own about 10 pairs of them and I wear them all the time. These distressed ones are so cute! I think they would go great with the basic white tee that I mentioned above.
6. Dr. Jart BB Cream – This stuff is the best! I have searched far and wide for a BB cream that has good coverage but was still light-weight and had a good SPF. This one has it all. It’s perfect if you’re going on vacation with an SPF of 45 it will protect you for longer than most other foundations. It lasts all day, also.
7. Tinted Lip Balm – I can never remember to put lip products on or if I do I always forget to touch it up. So most days I don’t even bother with them. However on the days when I do want something I will go for a tinted lip balm, especially in the summer. It hydrates while giving you a bit of a color. I think they look so gorgeous on the lips with just the subtlest amount of color.
8. Dresses – I love dresses. I’ve said this before but they’re so easy just to throw on and go without having to think about anything. It gets pretty hot in the summer where I live, so a dress that is nice and airy is a must for me. This off-the-shoulder one is adorable!
I hope you all have a lovely week. If you missed my last post I will have it linked here. Follow me on my social medias. They’re linked in the side bar and down below.

Gift Guide for Anyone

12 / 15 / 16
Gift Guide for Anyone

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a holiday gift guide for anyone. I think these are the perfect gifts for family members or friends.

One: Cable Knit Blanket Throw

In my opinion, I don’t think you can ever have enough blankets. I love to snuggle up on the couch with one. This cable knit throw is so cute. I think it would be a great gift along a with a book for someone.

Two: Portable Charger

I’m not sure how I ever survived without one. These are so useful, especially if you’re going to be out all day without access to an outlet. Perfect for a tech person, or just someone who’s phone always dies.

Three: Macarons

If you don’t know what a macaron is or haven’t tried one, you’re missing out. These little french cookies are heavenly. They have a slight crunch on the outside but chewy on the inside and always have a filling in between. Where I live you can only get them around the holidays so they’re always a treat.

Four: Beanie

If you live somewhere cold I don’t think you can go wrong with a beanie. They’re kind of a necessity when it gets colder. Plus they are so cute! Even if you live somewhere warmer I think beanies are just a cute accessory for the winter time.

Five: Portable Speaker

If you or someone you know likes music portable, bluetooth speakers are perfect! I love blasting music while I’m doing things. It’s just so much fun.

Six: Corkcicle Canteen

I got one of these over the summer and I love it! It will keep your water cold for days. I bring it when I workout, it’s the best. I won’t use anything else now. They come in a bunch of colors, too!

Seven: Polaroid Camera

I’ve always seen these and thought they were really cute. I love the vintage type photos you get with them. This would be perfect for someone who is into photography.

Eight: Monogram Mug

I’m  huge mug lover. I have so many. I drink coffee a few times a day and it’s always fun to have a cute mug for it. These monogram ones are gorgeous.

Nine: Planner

If you read my October Favorites, you will know that I have a planner. I can be kind of obsessed with it at times. It keeps me organized and on track. This is the perfect gift for someone who either always has a busy schedule or just likes to keep organized. I like plum paper planners. You can customize them by picking your cover, monogram them, and adding extras to it. Also, if you know someone who is crafty they can add planner stickers to it. Either functional or for decoration. If you would like to check planner stickers out more, my sister has an etsy shop where she sells printable planner kits.

Ten: Phone Case

I don’t normally buy phone cases for myself unless it breaks, so I always love receiving them as gifts. I think they’re perfect for teenagers.

I hope you got some inspiration from the gift guide for anyone. If you missed my last post I will have it linked here.

Gift Guide for Her

12 / 5 / 1612 / 5 / 16
Gift Guide for her

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my holiday gift guide for her. I will be posting a few more holiday gift guides so keep your eye out for those. All of these items are things that I would love to give/receive. I hope that you get some ideas from this gift guide for her.

One: Coco Mademoiselle – Chanel

Coco Mademoiselle is my favorite Chanel fragrance at the moment. I think is such a versatile scent for all ages. I always love receiving perfumes for holidays. If you aren’t sure if you would like the scent before you buy it, you can always ask for a sample or buy the roller.

Two: Monogram Ring – Bauble Bar

I’m a huge fan of delicate rings. I have small fingers so I feel like larger rings are too much for my hand most of the time. This monogram ring is perfect! I love personalized things especially during the holidays.

Three: Body Butter – The Body Shop

Body Shop body butters are some of the best in my opinion. They always make your skin feel so soft and smell amazing!

Four: Leather Tote – Kate Spade

I’m not sure you can ever go wrong with a black tote. They’re so versatile and you can carry a ton of things in them. I love the small tassels too.

Five: Blanket Scarf

I’ve seen blanket scarves everywhere this season. If you live where it gets colder I feel like this is a must, plus they’re also super cute!

Six: Candles – Jo Malone

I am a huge candles lover. If you know someone who is like me and want to get them something special, I feel a Jo Malone candle is the perfect gift.

Seven: Bow Heels

I’m in love with these bow heels. They’re different from most pumps and are perfect for a girly girl. The color goes with so much, too.

Eight: Cosmetic Bag

How cute is this make up bag? I saw it in Victoria’s Secret a few months ago and feel in love. The colors are perfect and that bow just makes the bag. Everyone needs a makeup bag, especially when traveling. I don’t think you can have too many.

Nine: Lipstick Set – Burberry

I love these beauty sets during the holidays. It gives you the chance to try multiple products for a cheaper price. I find that they last for a long time too. These from Burberry are gorgeous.

Ten: Gel Nail Polish – Essie

I’ve loved gel nail polish lately. I find that it lasts longer and doesn’t chip as soon. If you’ve read my blog for a while you will know that Essie is mt favorite polish brand. I love this pink color, its gorgeous!

I hope you all enjoyed this gift guide for her. If you missed my last blog post I will have it linked here.

Autumn Wishlist – Rose Wholesale

10 / 1 / 169 / 27 / 16
Autumn WishlistHi, everyone! Happy October 1st! I can’t wait for the colder weather and the gorgeous leaves! I feel like October is the official, official start to fall. Although if I’m being honest, I’ve been sipping on pumpkin spice lattes for weeks now. But this week the weather is finally starting to cool down and stay cool. In honor of the new month I thought I would share with you an autumn wishlist from Rose Wholesale.
  1. No outfit is complete without a pair of sunglasses. These are super cute. I love the gold detail on the sides.

2. I love this dress. I think it’s so unique and perfect for those warmer fall days. The back is gorgeous. I picture wearing this dress to roam dreamy fields on crisp fall afternoons or something. It just gives off this very elegant, carefree vibe.

3. When it comes to earrings I’m more of a stud person. But these hoops are so pretty. They make me want to break out my hoop earrings again. I love the gold color on these.

4. To complete the look you must have a pair of shoes. I love the strap on these ones. I think the black adds a bit of contrast to the nudes and golds from the rest of the look.

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend. If you missed my last blog post I will have it linked here. I shared how I make my pumpkin pie waffles. If you aren’t already follow me on my social medias. I always love connecting with people on there. Subscribe to my email list so you never miss another blog post again. I hope you all enjoyed this autumn wishlist. What are your plans for this weekend? Mine is looking to be pretty chill. Let me know in the comments below.

SheIn Outfit Inspiration

SheIn Outfit Inspiration

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. My weekends have been quite busy lately and they aren’t slowing down anytime soon. I really like to look at outfit inspiration post. I like to see what everyone else would put together. Today I was browsing on the SheIn website and made a little SheIn outfit inspiration post from some of the items on their website.

  1. Black Cat Eye Reflective Lenses Sunglasses – I think that sunglasses can finish a whole outfit off. It’s been very sunny here lately so sunglasses are a must. I love these cute sunnies.

2. Navy Off The Shoulder Hollow Shift Dress – Off the shoulder dresses have been in lately. I’m loving the eyelet details on the sleeves and along the bottom. I always find dresses to be nice in the heat. I’ve noticed lately that I buy a lot of blue dresses, I’m not sure what it is about them but they always draw me in.

3. Brown Peep Toe Caged Cut Out Gladiator Sandals – I’ve been loving the look of gladiator sandals. I love the strappy look on shoes. Nude ones are perfect because they go with everything.

4. Camel Triangle Patch Flap Bag – Crossbody bags are a must in the summer for me. They’re so easy to throw on and go. I love being able to have two free hands to do things and not have to worry about your bag. I love the details of this triangle patch flap bag.

5. Golden Ring Pendant Chain Link Necklace – I really love dainty necklaces. I think it goes really well with this outfit. I didn’t want something huge and overpowering up top.

I hope you all enjoyed this SheIn outfit inspiration post. I can’t believe it’s already August. When did that happen? I feel like it was May a few weeks ago. I’m already getting excited about autumn and cooler weather. If you missed my last post I will have it linked here.  I recently worked with SheIn if you would like to see my post with them I will have a link here.  Also, I created a Facebook page this week. I’m not very good at Facebook, I’m more of a Twitter girl, but bear with me while I try to figure it out. If you aren’t already follow my Instagram, I’ll be doing some traveling in a few weeks and I’m sure I will be posting tons.

Zaful has some cute clothes at fairly affordable prices. When Zaful contacted me to work with them it was really hard to narrow it down to a few pieces.  It took a while, but I’m finally I’m sharing with you my favorites from the store.

2. I’m in love with this Short Sleeve Crop Top and Leaf Print Shorts Suit . I love the print and I think it’s perfect to keep cool in the heat. If you’ve read my blog for a while, you will know that I’m a huge fan of the black and white color combo.
3. This Retro Embroidery Spaghetti Strap Tank Top is gorgeous! I love the slightly retro embroidery. This tank top would be perfect to wear with shorts or tucked into a skirt.

Color Block Dress

Color Block Dress

Hi everyone! I love this color block dress! I think it’s the perfect dress for those hot summer days. If you read my last post, you would know that every year I go on a girls shopping trip with my family to a small town. I picked this dress up a few years back from one of those shopping trips.

This dress was a bit out of the box for me. I normally don’t wear shift dresses and a color block dress wasn’t exactly the first thing on my shopping list. But for some reason I decided to give this dress a try and I loved it. I think that shift dresses are a great option for those really hot days because they are very airy. I love the bright colors and how they all work together. I think they are very summery. I don’t like those color block dresses that have all sorts of colors and clash.

When I bought the dress I knew I wanted a necklace to balance it out and complete the color block effect that I was going for. I decided on an orange-coral color. I think the color really works with the dress and compliments it well.

I got these sandals are long time ago and have worn them a ton. They go with practically everything and add a bit of sparkle to any outfit.

I wear my hair like this all the time. It takes 5 minutes. I always do this when I want my hair off my neck. I find it looks more put together than just throwing it in a ponytail. I always get a ton of compliments when I wear it. If you want me to show you how I do it, leave a comment down below.

I hope you are all having a lovely week!

Casual Spring Inspiration

Casual Spring Inspiration

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I wanted to share with you some casual spring inspiration. I think this is the perfect outfit for picnics or going shopping with friends. I’m in love with this little outfit I put together!

I love the pops of pink in the shoes and the lipstick, it’s the perfect touch of color to an otherwise neutral outfit. I’ve been obsessed with wearing white clothing lately and these high-waisted white skinnies are perfect! The shirt is slightly cropped which is the perfect combo to the high waisted skinny jeans. The hem is scalloped which adds just the cutest feminine touch. For the necklace I wanted something rose gold to tie in the pops of pink and I found this gorgeous, long,  filigree one. I found these sunglasses (now on sale!) and thought they would go perfect! I love the shape and color of them. I’m kind of a sucker for big sunnies.  The handbag is from Daily Look and I love it! Cross body bags are some of my favorites because you can just sling them on and go. The beige color can go with so much. I love the shape of it too!

I hope you all enjoyed this little casual spring inspiration post. I may just have to pick this outfit up soon! If you missed my last blog post I will have a link here. I shared with you my favorite chambray shirt and how I like to style it. If you haven’t already, you can sign up for my newsletter, which is located down below, so you will never miss a blog post again!
