I love this look! I love the structure of the military jacket and the softness of the lace dress, and how they work together. I think this is a perfect outfit for Thanksgiving, and most likely what I will be wearing.
I believe I have had this jacket for about 8 years or so, and yet it still fits perfectly. The military trend has always been one of my favorites, so when I think of autumn/winter fashion, a military inspired piece is one of the first things to come to mind.
The dress isn’t your traditional lace print, but that’s one thing I love about it. There’s a cutout around the waist that I feel adds a layer of dimension to an otherwise simple dress. This is a skater style dress which means it’s more fitted on top and then flares around your waist, this style dress is flattering on so many body types making it very versatile.
As for accessories I have kept it pretty simple. My necklace is a gold, tag type necklace that has my initial and a light pink stone on it. I think it goes very well with my outfit. My sunglasses are one of my favorite pairs, I love large sunnies. Keeping on the simpler route, to finish off the look, I added some nude heels.
I hope everyone is having a lovely week and a happy holiday!
Hi everyone! Today I’m wearing an outfit I would call casual autumn. This is a look that I would wear if I were going to be spending time with friends, run errands, or any other laid back type activity.
I love sweaters in the autumn time, they make me feel all warm and cozy as the temperature begins to drop. This is one of my go to sweater cardigans, because it’s neutral, it goes with practically anything. I’ve paired my sweater with a black lace camisole to add another layer of texture, rather than just a plain cotton one. I added a long gold necklace and dark red knee socks to warm up the look of the outfit. Gold and red are some of the colors that just scream autumn to me. As for my boots, you have probably seen them before in previous posts, they are my favorite and I wear them with everything. Riding boots are another thing that just say autumn to me. I wear these far into winter and even into spring but I suppose it’s because autumn is the first time I break them back out.
I hope everyone is having a lovely week. Thanks for reading!
Autumn is fast approaching. I love autumn, it is possibly my favorite season. I love the cooler, crisp air and the change in leaves. Wearing big cozy sweaters and consuming pumpkin, basically, anything is another favorite.
Unfortunately for me, it is still quite hot where I live, so I can’t pull on those big snuggly sweaters just yet without roasting. A polka dot cardigan, however, is perfect for the current climate. It’s fairly light-weight, yet can be warm when layered. I love that this cardigan can be worn almost all year around. I am always drawn to black and white things because of how versatile you can be with them. I find that there is something quite classic about black and white, very Audrey Hepburn-esque I suppose.
I’ve paired my polka dot cardigan with a black circle skirt and some black and white flats. I love these shoes, they are my go to’s, they are super comfortable and I wear them a ton. I wanted to keep this look quite simple so I opted to keep it neutral. The only hint of color comes from my necklace which is a light pink.
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Today I’m wearing my lovely Eiffel Tower Sweater. I love this sweater, it’s not too thick but it’s not too thin either, I suppose you could say it’s just right. It’s perfect to wear under a blazer or just by itself. The Eiffel Tower is made up of a floral lace print, which adds a girly touch. The bottom of the sleeves and shirt are lined with a black rim. I’ve paired my sweater with some black denim skinny jeans.
I’ve kept the jewelry light. Because the main focus of this look is the Eiffel sweater, I don’t want to take away from that by adding a heavy, large necklace. However I did want to add something, so I added a small, delicate necklace that won’t take away any of the focus from the sweater, but instead add to it. I also added a cute little bow ring to go with everything.
I hope you all have a lovely day.
If you want to see what I would believe to be a semi-fancy date night outfit, check out my Previous Post.
I love a little black and white dress, especially with stripes. There is something very classic about it. It’s very Audrey Hepburn-esque.
I feel like dresses are one of those no-brainer pieces of clothing, they’re very effortless. You can throw one on and look instantly put together.
If you’re looking for a last-minute outfit idea for Valentine’s Day I think that this one is perfect! Even if it isn’t Valentine’s day this is still a great look for a more semi-formal dinner.
I threw on a black cardigan to keep warm and some heels to add a classic touch. I didn’t want to add color to this outfit to keep the look I was going for, the only color I did add is through my nail polish. However if you wanted to add a more noticeable amount of color you could always wear a red heel or a bright coral cardigan ( I wouldn’t recommend wearing those two pieces together though. Unless that’s your style. :) ) My nail polish is from the Sephora X collection and is described as being lipstick red.
I hope everyone is having a lovely day!

Do you ever have those days when it’s just impossible to find something to wear? Everything in your closet just doesn’t seem right. I was having one of these a few days ago. This is how I ended up in blue plaid.
You know when you lose your keys and you’re looking for them everywhere, when you run out of places you think they would be, you start looking in the places you wouldn’t think that they would be (you know, in the fridge or in the medicine cabinet). I look at this analogy in the same way as finding an outfit to wear. When you run out of ideas of what you think would go together, you start looking at pieces that you wouldn’t think at first goes together. That’s how I stumbled across this outfit, and I liked it.
I always feel either of two ways when wearing plaid: Like a lumberjack, or Harry Styles. I prefer the latter of the two, in a female version of course (if I’m being honest that’s the only reason why I bought the shirt to begin with). So when I ran out of, in my mind, sensible outfits, I went to the things I hadn’t thought to put together before.
I had purchased this blue plaid back in the autumn and have only worn it with jeans, so I was quite surprised when I paired it with a skirt and it looked good. Now this isn’t my normal style, I like sparkles, frills, and a more refined look. This is a little edgy for me. So to soften the look up and not feel so much like a lumberjack in a skirt, I added some heels and a necklace. I didn’t want my necklace to coincide with the slightly edgy look that I was going for, but I wanted it to just subtly add a little girly touch. I think I accomplished this quite well. I’m in love with these heels, they’re amazing and I cannot get enough of them, they added the perfect touch to the overall look.
So the next time you’re perplexed on what to wear try something you haven’t thought of before.
I hope everyone is enjoying their week.
Thank you so much for reading!

There is something quite classy and elegant about a basic white button down and curly hair.
I love the simple nature of this look, it’s very clean and fresh.
I believe that everyone needs a basic white button down in their closet. It”s a staple piece that can be worn over and over and can go with so many things. You can dress it up with a sparkly skirt and some heels or down like I am here with just a pair of jeans and some boots.
Another staple piece in my wardrobe is a good pair of boots. If you’ve read some of my earlier posts you will notice that I wear these boots in many looks. They’re my favorite pair and I wear them with practically everything. If you live someplace where it snows, like I do, then you know that you don’t have many options when it comes to footwear. Boots are my personal favorite to wear in the winter as they protect your feet from the harsh weather, while still looking fashionable.
I’ve paired a beautiful, slightly blue hued necklace with this outfit. It just adds a little something, without taking away the simple, clean look of the shirt. I love the details of this necklace, the small circular cut outs holding the stone in place adds a bit of uniqueness to the piece.
I hope you all are enjoying your week so far!
Until next time
More looks with boots
This is the perfect dress for those days when you’re running late and don’t have time to put together an outfit. You can throw it on and go, while still looking put together.
The neckline is quite high, it hits right below the collar-bone, so I like to pair a more dainty necklaces with it. The sleeves are sheer, but still protects your bare skin from the elements. I paired my dress with some beige ballet flats (not pictured), and a beige trench coat. This dress is enough color for me, so I like to accessorize with neutrals.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Until next time,

You can impact and/or make an impression on people just by what you wear, or how you act. Good or bad. No words necessary. I love this shirt, not only for the way it looks, but what it says, what it means. It can be a walking reminder to the people around me, and myself.
As this top is slightly cropped, and it is winter, I paired this with a pair of high-waisted pants. For going out I added a scarf and a trench coat to stay warm. I like the way the dusty pink scarf looks against the elegant wording behind it. The neutral trench brings the whole thing together.
As I’ve said before these are my favorite boots and I wear them with practically everything, so of course they had to be in this ensemble.
I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far!
Until next time.
