Hi everyone! I am in love with braids, I always have some type of braid in my hair. I created this hairstyle a few months ago and I love it! This is perfect for Valentine’s Day or any other special event you might have coming up. It may look like you spent hours creating this but it actually doesn’t take long at all. So let’s get started!
I started out by sectioning off about a half an inch piece of hair. If you have any hairs that you want to leave out, I would section those off now also.
I then began to dutch braid down my head, keeping it close to my hair-line.
Once I got to my ear, I stopped picking up hair, and finished it out by braiding normally.
Before putting on an elastic, I pulled my braid apart to make it seem bigger. Gently tug at the sides to make it larger. I did this all the way up the braid.
After I finished, I secured my braid with a hair tie. Pull all of your hair to the side where the braid is and secure it in a low side ponytail.
Braid the ponytail normally.
Once you’re finished, pull the braid apart like you did earlier.
Wrap the braid around the base of your ponytail to form a bun. Secure your bun with another elastic.
Now take the first braid that you did and wrap it up and around your bun.
Secure it with as many bobby pins as needed.
And there you have it!
I hope you all enjoyed this little hair tutorial. This hair style is super easy but so cute! I love the big braids when you pull them apart, I’m kind of obsessed with how it looks. Keep a look out for a Valentine’s Day outfit sporting this hairstyle.
I hope you all have a lovely week. Just in case you missed my last blog post I will have a link here.
